Bear and Diane Welcome you Home to Wildhorse Ranch. They are horse and land people! Come Live the Dream. They facilitate Western and Indigenous Experiences. This is their life – who and what they are! Come “Ride Thru Time” with them. They wear boots, chaps, and cowboy hats! Over 30 years of excellent service to guests. Wildhorse Ranch is an educational, experiential wellness retreat facility tucked away on 480 acres of secluded land in Central Alberta. They facilitate programs for women’s wellness, Indigenous storytelling, land-based learning, wildland hikes, girls' summer horse camps, Flower, Vegetable and Sweetgrass gardens and Spirit Horse fire ceremonies. The Wildhorse Cowboy Kitchen serves up excellent Western and indigenous-style, home-cooked meals. Take a stroll through the Wildland Gardens – enjoy the bounty of "old-time medicinal plants” living in a natural setting. Stand on the shore of their “Wild” Thunder Lake and let Five senses be awakened by the Four Elements. Bear can share Indigenous history through storytelling and sharing their collection of Indigenous artifacts. You can view and touch native artifacts and beadwork. Western & Indigenous Cultures are alive and well here. Winter activities include Snowshoeing, Winter Wildland Walks, Photographic Opportunities, and Horse Connection Trails Rides. They provide a Place of Peace where people can come together to experience and revitalize their life. Let’s Live! Team Wildhorse looks forward to assisting you on your “life journey” to Refresh your Spirit and Soul! Happy trails.
